The World's First Working Ranch Cowboy Church
There is no greater illustration of authentic Christianity than the working ranch cowboy. A man isn't just a cowboy Monday-Saturday and a man isn't just a Christian on Sunday morning.
Kevin Weatherby, Founder of Save the Cowboy, always had a dream of showing people authentic, every day Christianity...not just talking about it at a church service. Kevin tells stories from his time working on some of the biggest ranches in Texas and Colorado and teaches a biblical concept with ways and words that cowboys can relate to. Kevin and Save the Cowboy's Wagon Boss, Ty Weber, then take these same biblical concepts and apply them to the pasture.
What if there were a ranch that was dedicated to servant leadership, mentoring, and disciple making that took the revenue and used it for supporting missionaries and helping cowboys and cowgirls that are having a hard time and helps them spiritually as well as financially?
This is the goal of the Long X Ranch and you can be a part of it.
We are inviting those who God has already blessed to partner in the life-changing success of this ministry by donating a cow(s) or other ranching equipment. Just one single viable, reproducing cow can raise over $12,000 in her lifetime. This isn't about being a mega-church with lots of money, this is about passing on the legacy, artistry, and traditions of the working ranch cowboy while helping others like Jesus told us to.
And you can come ride with us for a weekend!
Join Kevin Weatherby and Ty Weber for a weekend of cattle work, ranch work, and learning about authentic Christianity.
Spend a weekend in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains (30 miles SE of Denver, CO) on the Long X Ranch. Start off with an authentic dutch oven cooked meal and then gather and doctor heifers on the ranch with Kevin and Ty.
Then spend an afternoon learning everything from what has made Save the Cowboy the fastest growing cowboy ministry in the nation to getting insights from the movers and shakers in the ranching and agricultural industry. End your Saturday night with an old fashioned barn dance and hang out with some of the top cowboys and cowgirls in the nation as well as the Long X Ranch cowboys.
This will only be available during the summer and spots are VERY limited. But beware, this isn't a dude ranch vacation. This is a chance of a lifetime.
